Why is vision therapy important?

Vision therapy aids the patient in developing more normal coordination and teamwork with their eyes. When the eyes are poorly coordinated or not working together, patients can suffer from poor reading, stamina, depth perception, eye contact, and overall confidence.

How long does vision therapy take?

Vision therapy is typically 45-minute or 30-minute sessions, 1-3 times a week, depending on the individual, and about 15 minutes of at-home exercises per day. Therapy can last anywhere from a few weeks to several months and beyond, varying on the individual's needs and conditions.
